Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Laravel Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building modern web applications using Laravel and a strong understanding of PHP. As a Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing various web applications, while ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel framework.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement scalable and secure APIs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to improve performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Work with database systems, such as MySQL, and optimize queries for performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Laravel features and web development trends.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience with Laravel framework and PHP.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js/React is a plus).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Experience with package management tools like Composer, and NPM.
- Familiarity with Linux command line and server deployment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, etc.).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment (AWS, DigitalOcean, GCP, etc.).
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
